Board Member Responsibilities (per By-Laws)
Note: Board Members must reside in the neighborhood and be a member in good standing.

Chair (vacant 2018). The Chair shall:
* Preside at and oversee Board and membership meetings;
* Work closely with the Board to develop the Association’s work plan;
* Call for special meetings as needed or upon the request of other Board members or members;
* Establish, coordinate and oversee committees;
* Represent the Association at city-wide or other events as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Board;
* Participate in and coordinate the planning of meetings and special events;
* Review the Association’s annual financial report;
* Work with the Board to develop Association policies, initiatives and meeting agendas; and
* Attend board, membership and special event planning meetings, when practicable.

Vice Chair (vacant 2018). The Vice Chair shall:
* Perform the duties of the Chair in the event that the Chair is unavailable;
* Work closely with the Board to develop the Association’s policies, work plan, initiatives and meeting agendas;
* Attend board, membership and special event planning meetings, when practicable.

Secretary (vacant now). The Secretary shall:
* Take minutes at each Board and membership meeting and prepare them for distribution to members;
* Attend board, membership and special event planning meetings, when practicable.
